Overview:

A comprehensive operational app for WongFong Service Center brings a transformative change to the service team's operations. By consolidating job creation, checklists, customer deliveries, worker oversight, and work hour and incentive tracking into a single platform, it simplifies and streamlines their workflow.

No longer do service crew members need to juggle multiple WhatsApp groups and sift through paperwork; instead, they can efficiently manage tasks and access all relevant information from one centralized hub.

One of the first project upon joining the team, I gained invaluable insights throughout the process. It's always gratifying to witness the real impact of the applications we build, and this project certainly didn't disappoint.

Rotomatik Operation App

We set out to overhaul the operational procedures of our service center, which had been bogged down by paperwork and fragmented communication via numerous WhatsApp groups. Finding the right job records or media files was a hassle. With the app, we systematically addressed these pain points.

Now, our service crew can seamlessly create job records and attach relevant media directly within the app, eliminating the need for scattered group chats. We've streamlined incentive tracking by enabling direct worker assignment to job records, minimizing paperwork. Additionally, the app seamlessly integrates with our ERP system for functions like job progress tracking and billing, thanks to Lambda and EventBridge integration.

We came up with the idea of integrating a live leaderboard in the workshop to boost worker motivation and add a fun element to the atmosphere. Consequently, we developed a TV app to showcase real-time updates on incentives and worker statuses. Our ongoing monitoring shows that this initiative has been highly effective.
